FILTH is an 18+, NSFW, pro-fiction Zine centered around Overhaul aka Chisaki Kai.Minors will not be allowed to participate in this project and anyone found to be lying about their age will be removed from the project immediately. No exceptions.We will not tolerate harassment or related behavior.Information about the format of the zine will be released after the Interest Check concludes.We plan to have a NSFW main zine (not limited to sexual content) and hope to add on a problematic PDF if interest is there.
If there is enough interest, the main zine will also be physical.

Application guidelines

FILTH: A Chisaki Kai zine is a for-profit, NSFW, pro-fiction physical zine with an optional hard kink NSFW digital add-on. All profits will be evenly distributed among contributors and moderators. Because FILTH is NSFW and for-profit, this project is 18+ only.Note:
-We will be doing BLIND JUDGING to the best of our ability! We will not be looking at the names behind your wonderful work so we can focus on just judging on a technical level. Works submitted for samples without usernames/signatures/identifying watermarks are encouraged for this reason, but not required.You may apply to more than one position. However, please keep in mind that you will only be accepted into one.Application results will be sent via email, so please be sure you are using the correct email address when completing the form.

Artist guidelines

All submissions must be sent using a Google Drive link. Sharing must be turned on to allow for viewing privileges, or your application will be discarded.No Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, etc. links allowed. All judging will be done anonymously, or as anonymously as possible. Signatures and watermarks will not need to be removed but it is highly encouraged to do so in order for us to do a blind evaluation.Page Artist Guidelines
• 3 submitted pieces provided using a Google Drive Link
• Optional portfolio
• Completed works only. No sketches (unless if it's a sketch of our boy Chisaki!)
• At least one piece must include a completed background to show proficiency.
• At least one rough sketch of our sweet, baby boy Chisaki.
• At least one piece must be NSFW.Submitted pieces NOT allowed:
• No works containing scat and OC focused art, please and thank you!Please note all applicable CWs and TWs.We're looking for 24 artists, including guests (cosplay, cover, and page artists). Numbers subject to change. Double-page spread, single-page spread, and comic artists will be determined during the pitch stage if accepted. We will allow up to:
3 double-page spreads
3 two-page comic spreads
and all other artists will be assigned single-page spreads. Numbers subject to change.Artists will be judged based on the following:-Composition, anatomy/proportions, eroticism, and use of lighting and color.

All judging will be done anonymously, or as anonymously as possible. Any indicators will be removed before the selection process.Writer Guidelines:
• 2 submitted works provided using a Google Docs link, with an optional 3rd piece
• 2,000 Word Count Minimum per piece
• 3,000 Word Count Maximum per piece
• 200 word allowance under or over max.Excerpts are allowed:
• At least one little thread or blurb of our sweet, sweet boy Chisaki.
• At least one piece must be NSFW (sexual content is not required, but something that would be unacceptable in a public work environment).
• At least one piece must be completed.

FAQ

Is this zine SFW or NSFW?
This is an 18+ NSFW zine.Is this zine digital or physical?
FILTH will be a digital (potentially physical based on interest) zine with possible problematic PDF add-on.How many contributors will you be accepting?
We are looking to have 7 writers, 24 artists, and 4 merch artists (including guests).Is this for profit or for charity? How will contributors be compensated?
Our goal, if we reach the break even point, is to have all contributors compensated with a full bundle of the zine if desired. As this is a for-profit zine, any additional profit will be split evenly among all contributors.What content will not be allowed?
For the main zine, we will not allow non-con, loli/shota content, vore/extreme gore, and watersports. MCD will be allowed. AUs and queer content is allowed, and other problematic tags, such as dubcon will also be allowed. For the purposes of the main zine, all characters will be depicted as 18+.The only hard limit for both zines is scat and original characters/reader fics.Applicants and contributors will in no way be penalized for any of the above banned content they may have made outside the zine.If I'm accepted, what is the policy on harassment regarding problematic content and/or participating in the problematic PDF add-on?
As stated in the rules when joining the server, this zine will not engage in fandom discourse. Rumor-mongering, call-out posts, and inappropriate policing are not welcome, and any issues with fellow contributors should be brought to the mod team. Should anyone harass another contributor about previous content made and/or content they are making for the zine, they will removed from the zine.
